Girls work in small teams to help each other, decide on a shared solution and solve problems
collaborative learning
Use catchy, fun text to tell people what you offer.
Engineering Design Process
EDP approach is encouraged among girls during the problem solving tasks, so that they learn to think like engineers.

We encourage the girls to be innovators and risk takers. We believe that there are no failures, only solutions that are "more or less" effective.
Safe learning environment

We are totally open to getting feedback from the girls to learn what interests them. We will also track their interest level periodically to gauge their level of interest.

Online coding and computer literacy classes designed for girls (7-16 years old)
Scratch Programming (SL1/9-11) or equivalent experience is required.
In this module, we expand upon the concepts introduced in Scratch Level 1 by exclusively focussing on developing coding skills while reviewing mathematical concepts and ideas. We will explore and review mathematical topics like Geometry, Patterns and Algorithms and Arithmetic.
After completing this course, the girls will have a mastery of the Scratch environment, and will be ready for text based programming.
This course will take 12 sessions to complete.
Concepts explored:
Review: Events, Loops, Variables, Conditionals, Comparatives & Broadcasting
Nested Loops
Complex Conditionals
Cloning
Lists
Video sensing
Functions
Optimising code
